Q B12 - Q. Can I remove the grille on my Q B12 subwoofer?
Answer:
No, please be aware that the grilles have not been designed to be removed on the Q B12 subwoofer (except for servicing), similarly to other Q Acoustics subwoofers i.e. 7060S and 3060S models. The reason being that it is a very powerful device and the air movement that is created by the driver nearing full excursion makes it very difficult to hold a grille in place and it requires 12 fixing points to do so. All surfaces beneath the grille have not been finished to a standard in keeping with the outer cabinet.
