E120 - Q. Can I use a subwoofer with this system?

Answer:

E120 can be used with speakers and a subwoofer. You will need an amplified subwoofer with a gain and crossover control, most powered subwoofers will have this, and all Q Acoustics powered models have these facilities. You will need an analogue audio cable with stereo 3.5mm jack plugged into the AUX output of E120, and phono plugs connected to the subwoofer. Plug the speakers into the E120 speaker outputs as normal. Ensure that the AUX output of E120 is set to variable (default) by checking the small switch on the back of the unit, under the top connector board.
