M20 - Q. Would a subwoofer help with enhancing bass?
Answer:
The frequency response for the M20s is 55Hz - 22kHz, so the low end
would be enhanced with a subwoofer. For example, if you were to use a
QB12 subwoofer which is
capable of 28 Hz - 300 Hz, it would reveal lower the frequencies, and
the crossover would be adjusted as appropriate on the subwoofer itself
(perhaps around 80-100 Hz). With the subwoofer connected, we recommend
playing some music with good bass content and adjust the subwoofer
controls for the sound you prefer.
