Q Active Loudspeakers - Q. Can I get a longer mains lead for the loudspeaker?
Answer:
Should the supplied black 1.5m mains cable not allow the loudspeakers to be placed in the desired location, there is too much of the cable on view or indeed a different colour to aide aesthetics in the home, aftermarket cables can be used. The loudspeaker end of the cable uses what's commonly referred to as 'Figure of 8', 'Infinity' or 'Shotgun' due to it's cross sectional shape, it can also be referred to in a technical specification as 'Telefunken' or 'C7'. At the mains end, you will need a mains plug for your country, please note for the UK, the installed fuse should be 3Amp rated.
