Q Active - Q. I've had the Q Active app installed on my iPhone/iPad, but all of a sudden it's not discovering the speakers?
Answer:
Firstly, check to ensure that your Q Active system is connected to the network, either via a wired ethernet connection or wirelessly via your Wi-Fi.
Secondly, check and ensure that your iOS device (iPhone/iPad) with the Q Active app installed is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
If both the above have been checked and you are still unable to discover the Q Active loudspeakers, please try the following:
Open ‘WI-FI’ under the Settings for your device, click on the info icon 'i' to the right of the Wi-Fi SSID (Name) to view the setup of the joined network, you'll notice ‘Private Address’ which is turned on with slider to the right and green, turn it off which then presents a message stating you have to re-join the Wi-Fi Network, tap on Re-Join and a ‘Privacy Warning’ message comes on screen just highlighting the features of using this function. After you have re-joined the Wi-Fi, you can re-engage the 'Private Address' feature, you will be asked to 'Re-Join' a second time.
Now open Q Active app, it should discover the Q Active loudspeakers as it did before.
