Q Install - Q. What does the +/- 3.0dB switch do at the rear of the speaker?
Answer:
The switch on the rear allows you to increase or decrease the high
frequencies of the loudspeaker, rather than changing the overall signal
gain, which is what the receiver enables you to do. It's normally used
when speakers are installed into bright areas such as kitchens, where the
HF might be too harsh, or conversely, you might want to lift the HF in a
room that's heavily furnished.
