Q Active - Q. Can I turn off the source auto-switching when an audio signal is sensed?
Answer:
The Q Active Hub has a source auto-switching function when audio signals are sensed, this can be a useful feature, but in some circumstances it might be an unwanted feature that you may wish to turn off. This is possible through the Q Active app, download and install the Q Active App for iOS/Android if you've not already done so. Once installed, open the app and the initial page displayed should be 'Connected Speakers', choose the system you want to alter and tap the settings cog wheel which will open 'General Settings', now tap on 'Source Configuration' , and 'Source Settings' page is displayed. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will find an option 'Auto Source Switch' with a toggle on/off to the right where you can make the change.
Please also note you can temporarily defeat the auto-switching function with a quick press of the source button on either the remote, hub or loudspeaker, this stops auto-switching until the system enters standby when it's re-applied.
